Diary entry 1/01/08

A quiet Christmas here in Fort Worth. With all the moving and resettling , it was nice to have a traditional Christmas. The holidays would not be complete without a visit from friend Reba. Last year she was feeding goats and deer, this year, among other city things, we went to the beautiful Ashton Hotel for a civilized high holiday tea. It was charming and I must admit,  I love tea. I love the whole tiny food thing. (see snapshots)

Nothing going on in the studio until after the New Year, but I'm gearing up for new work and getting ansy to get back to work after all this partying. We are ringing in the new year at J & J's Blues Bar so we can see old friend Shawn Phares who is playing there. No gig for Wilson this year, which is good for me as we get to spend a rare New Year together.
